How long should manuscript support actually take?

Why "starting from" turnaround ranges are more useful than fixed guarantees.

Turnaround for research writing support depends heavily on how finished the underlying work already is. A polished dataset with a clear outline moves faster than raw notes that still need structuring.

As a general guide, article-length drafts tend to run one to two weeks per five thousand words, and a full thesis typically takes four to eight weeks depending on complexity and how it is staged across chapters. Rush requests are usually possible but should be flagged upfront, since they affect both cost and quality control.

Treat any timeline you are given before a project is scoped as an estimate. A firm date should only follow a confirmed quote.
